This is a FULL-TIME position in Near Downtown MRT, Singapore posted July 17, 2019.

Position : Customer Service Executive


Salary : SGD 3,500 – 3,800 (Depends on experience)

Work location : Near Downtown MRT

Working hours : Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm


Job Description:         

  • Responsible for maintaining and developing existing accounts.
  • Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face and respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints
  • Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
  • Maintain records of customer details / sales visits
  • Regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits.
  • Make official quotation / rates tender to customers.
  • Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with Operations and Documentation on the execution of customer service contracts.
  • Promote the services and products of all entities, and coordinate sales efforts with other department sales.
  • Report timely to department Manager after every visit to customer.
  • Require to visit Batam once a week.
  • Handle shipments and any other task as requested by the Department Head.


Work Requirement:

  • Minimum a GCE “O” levels or Diploma holder prefer with 2 years working experience in Shipping forwarding and /or Logistics Industry
  • Customer service oriented and able to work independently
  • Knowledge Logistics procedures import, export and transshipment
  • Willing to work long hours & able to work under pressure in a fast moving environment
  • Proficient in PC applications particularly in Microsoft excel and words

  • Medical & dental benefits : S$900 per year [1st year pro-rated based on months of service]
  • Annual Leave : 14 days [for 1st – 7th year]; 21 days [from 8th year onwards]
  • Bonus : AWS + Var Bonus (depending on company performance)
  • Travel allowance : S$50 per trip for weekly day trip to Batam for meeting
